Beyond Biology's Next Frontier
An evening in Houston exploring the promise of single-cell science

Join your colleagues and Fluidigm scientists for a unique opportunity to discuss how single-cell insights will influence the future of biology.

Guest Speakers:

•  Laurence Cooper, MD PhD, of MD Anderson Cancer Center, will describe his laboratory's work translating T cells and NK cells into immunotherapy in clinical trials, which he performs in addition to caring for children undergoing hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation.

Navin Varadarajan, PhD, of University of Houston, focuses on high-throughput screens using single-cell assays and will share how these screens elucidate the functionality of immune cells in a variety of contexts ranging from autoimmunity to cancer immunotherapy.

•  Nicholas Navin, PhD, of MD Anderson Cancer Center, will describe his use of single-cell sequencing to understanding genome evolution in cancer. Improved understanding of intratumor heterogeneity and clonal evolution in tumors and will lead to better clinical diagnostics, prognostics and treatment decisions for personalized medicine.

Cocktails and appetizers will be served.
